Payment Policy

At MUMBO Kenya, we are committed to providing secure and transparent payment processes for all our stakeholders. This Payment Policy outlines the accepted payment methods, terms, and procedures related to all transactions conducted via our platform.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

  • M-Pesa: Paybill or STK push (automated prompts)
  • Bank Transfers: Direct deposits to our official bank accounts
  • Credit/Debit Cards: Secure online payments via integrated gateways
  • Mobile Wallets: Accepted through our mobile platform (where applicable)

2. Currency

All payments are processed in Kenya Shillings (KES) unless stated otherwise. International payments may be subject to conversion charges based on your bank or card provider.

3. Payment Confirmation

Once your payment is received and verified, a confirmation message (via SMS and/or email) will be sent. You can also view your transaction history in your member dashboard under “My Contributions” or “Invoices.”

4. Payment Deadlines

Certain investment opportunities or services may have defined payment deadlines. Failure to make payments within the specified time frame may result in loss of reservation, interest, or participation eligibility.

5. Late or Failed Payments

If a payment fails due to insufficient funds, incorrect details, or gateway failure, we encourage you to retry or contact our support team. Repeated failed attempts may restrict future participation until the issue is resolved.

6. Refunds and Reversals

Payments made are generally non-refundable unless explicitly stated in a specific investment agreement or product/service terms. Erroneous or duplicate payments will be reviewed and, if valid, refunded or credited within 7–10 working days.

7. Fraud Prevention

For your security, all payment activities are monitored. Suspicious or unauthorized transactions may trigger account verification or temporary suspension. Always ensure that payments are made to official MUMBO Kenya channels.
